Support Sirio on his cycling tour across the USA

Sirio, a 42-year-old from Canazei in the Fassa Valley, Dolomites (Italy), shares his journey after being diagnosed with the rare Guillain-Barré Syndrome in its acute axonal form in December 2022. This condition, affecting the nervous system, left him completely paralyzed for 10 days and caused lasting challenges, such as limited hand dexterity and constant tremors. Despite these obstacles, Sirio has worked hard through months of rehabilitation and maintains his strength through regular exercise.

Drawing inspiration from his own recovery and after helping someone in a similar situation, Sirio plans a remarkable 6,000 km bike journey across the United States in 2025. The goal of this journey is to spread a message of hope, resilience, and determination for people facing serious illnesses. He aims to inspire others and raise awareness, sharing daily updates via social media.
